Over the weekend, I (Miles, age 3, cavapoo, professional zoomie specialist) went on a mission to sniff out the best dog parks in Somerville and Cambridge. Here's my honest, treat-fueled review of each spot.

📍 Zero New Washington Dog Park – Somerville

Address: 0 New Washington St, Somerville, MA 02143
Miles’ Take: Big space, lots of friendly dogs. Wood chips instead of grass, which is fine for paw traction but a little dusty. There's a small/shy dog section, which I appreciated when the big shepherd got the zoomies.

Miles’ Take: Great view. Smaller space but super well-kept. Tends to attract local regulars. Gravel surface—not my favorite, but it’s clean.

Miles’ Take: Huge! This one is more of a “dogs on leash, big field to roam” situation. Great for a post-vet walk. The real gem is the off-leash area near the back—gravel base, good fencing.
