Services
Help your pet move more comfortably. We offer laser therapy for dogs and cats, also called cold laser therapy, as a gentle, non-invasive way to ease pain and inflammation and support recovery. Every plan starts with a vet exam at our Somerville clinic, so you know it's the right fit before treatment begins.

Non-invasive, with no sedation needed
No downtime, so pets go home right after
A drug-free option for pets who can't take certain medications
Works alongside your pet's other care, not as a replacement

Is laser therapy safe and painless for my pet?
Yes. Our veterinary team follows a treatment plan set by your vet, uses settings tailored to your pet, and makes sure everyone in the room, including your pet, wears protective eyewear. Most pets feel only a gentle warmth, and many relax during the session.
It depends on your pet's condition. After the first exam, your vet will create a plan for you. Many pets start with 2 to 3 sessions a week, then move to maintenance visits as they improve. Recent injuries usually need fewer sessions than ongoing conditions like arthritis.
Most sessions take 5 to 20 minutes, depending on your pet's size and the number of areas we treat. You're welcome to stay with your pet the whole time.
Yes. We tailor every session to the species, size, and condition. Since cats have fewer pain medication options than dogs, laser therapy can be an especially helpful part of their care.
For some pets, it may help reduce how much medication they need. Your vet will review your pet's full care plan and advise on any changes, so please don't stop medication without talking to us first.
Book an urgent care visit first. Sudden limping can have many causes, so we'll examine your pet and find the cause before recommending any treatment.
We offer laser therapy at our Somerville clinic. If you usually visit one of our other locations, ask about laser therapy at your next appointment and we'll help you schedule a session in Somerville.
Cost depends on your pet's condition and how many sessions they need. In line with our transparent pricing, we'll give you a clear estimate before treatment begins. New patients start with a $125 annual exam. We don't bill insurance directly, but we provide detailed invoices to help you submit a claim.
