  • From You Directly – We collect Personal Information that you provide to us directly. This occurs when you register for an account, purchase products or services, sign up for a newsletter, or otherwise communicate with us through the Site.
  • From Third-Party Sources – We may receive Personal Information about you from third-party partners, including business partners, subcontractors, advertising networks, analytics providers, and search information providers.

Through Online Tracking Technologies – We and our service providers use cookies, pixels, web beacons, device identifiers, and local storage to collect data regarding your usage and browser activity. We process this information—which may be combined with Personal Information—to operate Site features, personalize your experience, and analyze user engagement. Most browsers and mobile devices allow you to block, delete, or disable tracking technologies. Please note that disabling these features may limit the functionality of certain parts of the Site.
Note on Cookies: For a comprehensive list of the tracking technologies we collect, the specific data elements they track, and your management options, please consult our Cookie Policy.
  • Third-Party Plugins and Do Not Track – Certain service providers or plugins may use cookies to gather information about your activities on our Site and combine it with other Personal Information they may hold. Their use of such data is governed by their respective privacy policies. At this time, we do not respond to browser "Do Not Track" (DNT) signals. You can learn more about DNT at allaboutdnt.com.
  • Targeted Advertising and Analytics
  • Google & Social Media: We utilize Google Ads and social media platforms (such as Facebook and Instagram) to serve targeted advertisements. Google uses cookies to collect data about your visits to generate relevant ads on third-party websites. To manage your preferences or opt-out, use our Cookie Banner or visit Google’s Ad Settings, Facebook Ad Settings and Instagram Ad Settings.
  • Domain-Specific Opt-Out Limitations: Please note that our integrated cookie consent and opt-out tools are currently available exclusively on our primary website (www.tandem.vet). On certain subdomains, such as event.tandem.vet, tracking technologies are enabled by default upon access. To limit tracking on these subdomains, we recommend managing your preferences via your browser or device settings as detailed in the "Online Tracking Technologies" section above.
  • Industry Opt-Outs: You may also manage your preferences through the National Advertising Initiative (NAI) or the Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA). Please note that opting out of targeted advertising does not stop all ads; you will continue to see non-personalized advertisements.
  • Analytics: We use analytics services, such as Google Analytics, to analyze website traffic. For information on how Google Analytics processes your data, please review the Google Analytics Privacy Notice
  • Advertising and Attribution –  To evaluate and optimize our marketing performance, we process limited identifiers, such as advertising click identifiers and contact information provided during the booking process. When you interact with an advertisement and subsequently complete an action (such as booking an appointment), we use this data to perform "conversion attribution." We share limited, often pseudonymized, attribution data with our advertising partners to measure the effectiveness of our campaigns and refine our ability to reach relevant audiences. This data is used strictly for marketing performance analysis and the improvement of our services.
  • Marketing Communications and CRM Management – We utilize third-party marketing automation platforms, such as Klaviyo, to manage our customer relationships and execute email campaigns.
  • Data Shared: We share certain Personal Information with these providers, including contact details (e.g., email address), basic customer profile data, and "event" data (such as your interactions with the Site or booking history). Please review the Klaviyo Privacy Notice
  • Purpose: This data is used to coordinate our marketing efforts, personalize your experience, and analyze the performance of our outreach strategies.
  • Your Choices: You may opt-out of receiving promotional emails at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link located at the bottom of our communications.
  • Operational Data Processing: Please note that opting out of marketing communications does not necessarily terminate the sharing of basic profile data with our marketing platforms. We may continue to process and sync limited information to ensure the integrity of our marketing databases, manage suppression lists (to ensure your opt-out preference is honored), and perform internal analytics to improve our services.
