We are a modern veterinary clinic offering comprehensive wellness exams, vaccines, preventive care, basic urgent care, travel certificates, allergy treatment and specialty services such as cardiology to pets in the Greater Boston area. We have a full-service clinic in Somerville and also provide convenient mobile veterinary services directly to neighborhoods throughout East Boston, Boston, Cambridge, Quincy, and Revere. We also offer telehealth options for existing customers.
Tandem serves pets throughout Greater Boston with both our Somerville veterinary clinic and mobile services. Our mobile veterinary care visits neighborhoods including Alewife, Cambridge Crossing, Central Square, Kendall Square, East Boston, Revere, North Quincy, and Quincy Center.
Tandem onsite clinics are one-day or half-day mobile veterinary events where we bring our expert team directly to your neighborhood for wellness exams, vaccines, basic urgent care, allergy treatment with all other treatments handled at our full service Somerville Hub. These convenient popups are typically held during weekdays with later hours in neighborhoods like Cambridge, East Boston, Revere, and Quincy. Check out our upcoming schedule here.
Yes! We provide veterinary care for both cats and dogs, including wellness exams, vaccinations, and preventive screenings for all life stages.

Yes! While we don't directly bill pet insurance companies, we're happy to provide all the documentation needed to submit your claim. Most pet insurance providers reimburse you after you've paid for your pet's care.
Yes. We offer a wide range of urgent and advanced services, including surgeries. If your pet requires overnight monitoring or hospitalization, we’ll coordinate a referral to a trusted 24/7 emergency facility.
In Massachusetts, state law requires an established Veterinarian-Client-Patient Relationship (VCPR). This means your pet must have an exam with our veterinarian before vaccines or other treatments can be provided.
