Mobile Terms of Service

Effective Date: May 7, 2026

The Tandem mobile message service (the “Service”) is operated by Animal Care Innovations, Ltd. d/b/a Tandem (“Tandem,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Your use of the Service constitutes your agreement to these mobile terms of service (the “Mobile Terms”). We may modify or cancel the Service or any of its features without notice. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may also modify these Mobile Terms at any time, and your continued use of the Service following the effective date of any such changes shall constitute your acceptance of such changes. These Mobile Terms supplement, and are in addition to, the Tandem Terms of Service available at Terms of Service and the Tandem Privacy Notice available at Privacy Notice.

1. Consent to Receive Text Messages.

By providing your mobile phone number and opting in to the Service through the prompt “Get text reminders, care updates, and occasional promotional messages from Tandem,” you consent to receive recurring text messages from and on behalf of Tandem through your wireless provider to the mobile number you provided, even if your mobile number is registered on any state or federal Do Not Call list. Text messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system or other technology.

2. Types of Messages.

Once you opt in, you may receive the following categories of text messages from Tandem:

  • Appointment reminders;
  • Care updates and other service-related notifications;
  • Care and due-date reminders;
  • Post-visit review requests (such as Google review requests);
  • Planned discount announcements;
  • Notifications regarding open appointment slots; and
  • Other related promotional or service messages.

We may add or modify the categories of SMS messages from time to time. Message frequency varies.

3. Voluntary Participation.

You understand that you do not have to sign up for the Service in order to use Tandem’s products or services or to receive care from Tandem. Your consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase or of receiving the Services. Your participation in the Service is completely voluntary.

4. Costs and Charges.

Tandem does not charge a fee for the Service. However, you are responsible for all charges and fees associated with text messaging imposed by your wireless provider. Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan and contact your wireless provider for details. You are solely responsible for all charges related to SMS/text messages, including charges from your wireless provider.

5. Opt-Out.

You may opt out of the Service at any time. To opt out, reply STOP to the first text message you receive from us, text the keyword STOP to +1 (888) 410-6443, or click the unsubscribe link (where available) in any text message containing a link to our promotional services. You will receive a one-time opt-out confirmation text message. No further text messages will be sent to your mobile device, unless initiated by you. If you have subscribed to other Tandem mobile message programs and wish to cancel, except where applicable law requires otherwise, you will need to opt out separately from those programs by following the instructions provided in their respective mobile terms.

6. Help.

7. Use and Sharing of Your Mobile Number.

The mobile phone number you provide for the Service will be used solely by Tandem and the third-party service provider that delivers SMS messages on our behalf. We will not share or sell your mobile phone number to any other third party for any purpose. This policy is subject to change, and we will notify you in advance of any material change consistent with applicable law. We follow industry-standard security protocols to keep your SMS communications private and secure.

8. Changes to Phone Numbers and Short Codes.

We may modify or discontinue any phone number or short code we use to operate the Service at any time, and we will notify you of any such changes in a manner consistent with applicable law. You acknowledge that any messages, including any STOP or HELP requests, you send to a phone number or short code we have changed may not be received, and we will not be responsible for honoring requests made in such messages.

9. Carrier Disclaimer; Mobile Number Changes.

The wireless carriers supported by the Service are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. You agree to provide us with a valid mobile number. If you obtain a new mobile number, you will need to enroll in the Service again with your new number.

10. Limitation of Liability.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that Tandem will not be liable for any failed, delayed, or misdirected delivery of any information sent through the Service, any errors in such information, or any action you may or may not take in reliance on the information or the Service.

11. Privacy.
