A pet travel certificate, also called a Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (CVI) or health certificate, is a required document for traveling with your dog or cat. It confirms that your pet is healthy, up-to-date on pet vaccines, and cleared to travel by a licensed veterinarian.
Depending on where you’re going, travel certificates must meet specific airline, state, and international regulations, some of which are time-sensitive or complex. That’s where we come in.

Traveling abroad? Requirements vary dramatically by country — and often include:
International travel certificates take advance planning. We recommend reaching out at least 30–60 days before your departure — some countries require even more time.
You may also need a health certificate from your destination country in order to return with your pet to the USA.
Even within the U.S., pet travel can require documentation. Many airlines need a certificate issued by a licensed vet within 10 days of travel. Some states may also have rules about pet vaccines or parasite prevention.

"Tandem’s services were great!!! The doctor and vet technician were awesome. They worked well with my cat. They were very clear in explaining the services they offer and listened to what I wanted and didn’t want. I didn’t feel pressured to pay for services that I didn’t want.
